Family can begin arriving for the Tea Ceremony.

Following a long-standing Chinese tradition, newlyweds serve tea to their elders from both sides as a gesture of respect. Those elders then drink that tea to welcome their new family member.

For family attending the tea ceremony, lunch will be served in an open buffet style from two restaurants:

  • Burmese salads
  • empanadas
Guest Arrival02:00 PM

Guests can begin arriving for the Legal Ceremony.

Yan and Huy sign their marriage license in a casual ceremony officiated by Nhiên (Huy's sister).

Reception03:00 PM

All seating is open, so grab a seat (and some snacks and boba) or move around anywhere you'd like! Here are some of the activities available:

  • open tables for guests to chat with each other
  • topic tables featuring a topic (like 'food', 'cats', 'video games', etc.) to help break the ice a bit
  • board games for anyone looking to get some games in with other guests
  • photo booth with fun props to stage photos with
  • button-making station for anyone looking to make their own souvenirs from the wedding
  • origami station for anyone interested in creating with paper
  • Giant Jenga for the builders attending
Dinner06:00 PM

Dinner will be served in an open buffet style from four restaurants:

  • tacos
  • Mediterranean bowls
  • pizza
  • pies (savory)
Dessert07:00 PM

In lieu of a single wedding cake, dessert will also be an open buffet featuring a variety of cakes and doughnuts.

Social Hour08:00 PM

Enjoy dinner and dessert with all of the activites from the Reception! There will also be some smaller, short events happening throughout.
